EFG Logistics was awarded to deliver the components for several power plants from Germany to South Korea. The projects were spread over several years. On-time delivery of the components was essential in order to keep the construction sites on schedule.

Wind turbine towers to the Nordics

As a long-standing partner to the wind industry, EFG Logistics has provided a wide range of services on many occasions and in various countries. In this case, EFG Logistics was responsible for the entire supply chain, ensuring that the segments of more than 50 wind turbine towers were simultaneously delivered from the manufacturer’s plant to various destinations in the Nordic countries. Each segment had to be at the right project site at the right time. At the same time, the need for intermediate storage at the ports had to be minimized.
